What were your experiences with my Online Course? Please tell me all you want to say - be it positive or negative.

I'd really love to hear from you. But please keep these rules in mind:
  • 1. I really like to see negative feedback as it helps me to improve. But please DO NOT use insulting or offending language - also not against other posters!
  • 2. For the sake of clarity I may move or remove your comments after several months.
  • 3. Please do not post here any personal information like e-mail addresses, passwords etc.
  • 4. For problems of technical nature please send an e-mail to support@drawingsecrets.com instead of posting here

Dear Sir,
I draw in order to paint. After drawing my image which is basically an
outline of what I require,(thereafter I draw with my paint brush).I then coat it
with a layer of gesso so that the pencil does not mix with the paint. This gives
me a faint outline to follow. I have done intricate drawings using many
different pencil grades and loved it, but I have moved on. Why am I reading your
course? Because I have maybe missed something. When I used to draw I used
measurements. You see I had a curtain and soft furnishing business for 19 years
and there I learned to read sizes with the eye more than with a tape, so I am
applying it to my images as well. I paint in the classical realism genre and
love the Old Dutch paintings. I find it a challenge every time. Warm wishes
from South Africa, Nan

I realised how bad I was at drawing lines on the first lesson but as I practised
on and on, the lines started to get better.
I made a strange discovery while so
doing: I could draw diagonal lines better than straight ones XD
